The Job

Driving and highlighting the value and experience included within the Pukka Up packages, you will have a varied role combining a mixture of sales and event based activities. What we are looking for
We want people with a passion for our brand, self-motivated and tenacious with a positive can do attitude. You will be a real people’s person with the ability to create relationships quickly, complete with outstanding sales skills and creativity to ensure your chosen method of event promotion creates stand out and converts potential customers to our events.

The job requires a mixture of team working and the ability to go at it alone where appropriate, therefore you should be flexible to adapt to a fast paced, constantly changing environment and be able to embrace any change in circumstance as it arises.

Essential Information

  • All applicants must be 18 or over before June 1st 2016
  • Interviews will be held over skype, you will be contacted via email with a date and time should you be successful
  • You will need to be available for training in resort from June 1st 2016, although this can be negotiated should it be deemed appropriate.
  • Flights and accommodation are not covered by the company and you are responsible for arranging this, however we can provide advice to applicants on successful appointment to the company
  • It is advantageous to have a background in sales and event promotion preferably in an overseas environment but this is not essential
  • All members of staff must have a valid NIE and be able to work in Spain before their first day of work. Successful applicants will be provided with advice on how to obtain this before arriving in resort if needed.

PEL Events is an established music and events company, organising events around the world for over 14 years. Our main operation is located in Ibiza, producing the World’s Biggest Boat Party, Pukka Up. Our boat parties have become synonymous with the Ibiza experience and following a recent rebrand, we are embarking on a new chapter with this firmly loved brand. We are looking for a high-performing, super cool individual to join us on a Summer Internship to assist with digital marketing and office responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of all departmental activities
  • Support the Event Manager in organizing various projects
  • Liase with current and form new partnerships with local businesses to drive sales.
  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
  • Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information
  • Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts (including Live aspects)
  • Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc) to augment the company’s presence in the market
  • Communicate directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships
  • Provide administrative support to the company directors, including, scheduling meetings, arranging logistics and maintaining diaries.

Skills & Capabilities:

  • Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
  • Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
  • Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office. Experience in marketing software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords etc.) beneficial
  • Exquisite communication and people skills
  • Experience in working in events or event based studies.
